Can we meet you prior to making a booking?

Absolutely! It is a great chance to get to know each other and see if I am a good fit for your special day.

 

Where are you based?

I am based in Melbourne but I am constantly traveling for work, so if your wedding is outside of Melbourne I would love to hear about it. I also spend a lot of time on the Sunshine Coast, this is where I grew up and my family is still there. There are no travel fee's for Melbourne and surrounding areas or Sunshine Coast. 

 

How do we book you?

Send me an enquiry through the contact page and I’ll see if your wedding date is available. If you are happy with my packages and would like to go ahead I require a 30% deposit to lock in the date. The rest is due one week before the wedding. There is also a small contract for you to sign.

 

What are your prices?

My prices start at $3000. Send me an enquiry through the contact page for a full price list. 

 

We don’t like posed wedding photos, will you make us pose?

I shoot most of the day in a documentary style. I will not put you in any awkward poses and I am all about capturing real moments as they unfold on your wedding day. A lot of the time you will not notice I am there. During the bridal party and couple portraits I do give a little bit of direction but I like to keep things natural and fun. 

 

When is the best time for portraits?

The best time for portraits is one hour before sunset until 10 minutes after sunset. The light at this time is soft pretty and even. In reality this time does not work for all weddings, especially in day light savings. I will always choose the best locations for your photos at the allocated time. If your up for it, I can steal you away for 10mins at sunset to get some beautiful golden hour shots as well.  

 

How and when do we receive our photos?

Within 4 weeks of your wedding I will post you a USB with all your edited images in both high resolution for printing and low resolution for web. Your album takes 4 – 6 weeks after you have chosen your photos. I will also send you some sneak peeks a couple of days after your wedding. 

 

How many photos will we receive?

I don’t put a limit on the amount of photos you receive and it varies depending on your package. As a guide if you book the full day package you should expect approximately 600 – 800.

 

Do you supply RAW files?

No I don’t. I take my time applying my editing style to each individual image. You will receive both high res JPEG files for printing and low res JPEG files for web. You will get every usable image. 

 

Is it just you taking our photographs on the day?

Yes, just me. I work with two Canon cameras and a range of different lenses. You do have the option of adding a second photographer to your package.

 

Do we need a second photographer? 

A second photographer is recommended if you have over 150 guests or if you and your partner are getting ready further then 30 minutes apart.

 

Do you have backup equipment and back up procedures in place for our photos after the wedding?

Yes absolutely! I shoot with two cameras that both have two memory card slots so there will be two copies of your wedding from each camera. As soon as I get home from your wedding I back up your images to 3 different locations. 

 

What are your thoughts on same sex marriage?

YES!!! Love is love. 

 

Do we have to feed you?

Yes please!
